A conversation with HERA and SEWA about three years of putting multi-peril climate insurance into practice in India. More than 300,000 poor women workers have participated in a pioneering model that combines financial protection with women’s lived experience and needs. Together, we will explore what poor women have taught us, what HERA and SEWA have learned about designing and delivering inclusive income insurance at scale, what has surprised us, and what it will take to reach millions more.
